Pocahontas County Foundation gives Library Grant

Chairs by FoundationHave you stopped in at the Pocahontas Public Library lately?

Have you noticed the new computer chairs that we purchased

Thanks to funding we received from the Pocahontas County

Foundation.  The Pocahontas County Foundation has given many grants

out to non-profit organizations in Pocahontas County for betterment projects.

The Foundation receives its funding through a percentage of the state’s gross

gambling tax receipts for non-gambling counties.  The grants were awarded

at an awards ceremony earlier this year.  The Pocahontas Public Library was a

recipient of a grant from the Pocahontas County Foundation.  The grant has

helped us spruce up our computer area and purchase stackable chairs for our

community room.   We appreciate the support of the Foundation to help us

complete some of our projects.  The Library would like to Thank the Pocahontas

County Foundation for the opportunity to provide comfortable seating to the

patrons of our library.  Stop in and Check us out!
