Save Electricity!

 Kill a Kilowatt-hour at the Pocahontas Public Library.  It’s a New Year and resolutions are high on the priority list.  One resolution is saving money and reducing the cost of electricity.   How you ask?   Come join us at the Pocahontas Public Library on Thursday, January 17th at 10:00 a.m.   Meet George Tuttle who will explain how to save dollars by using the correct light bulb in your home.  There are effective and in-expensive ways to save on the cost of electricity.  As a High School Physics and Electronics teacher, George Tuttle worked with electricity on a daily basis.  He will give a presentation to explain electrical usage and savings in layman’s terms.  Incandescent light bulbs are being phased out – 100 watt bulbs were phased out in 2012, 75 watt bulbs in 2013, and 40 and 60 watt bulbs in 2014.  The name kill a Kilowatt-hour means if you save one kilowatt-hour you will save off your electrical bill!  You will also be helping environment.  George will have hands-on demonstrations and handouts to help you save money in 2013!  Please call the Pocahontas Public Library at 335-4471 to register as space is limited.   Come join us on January 17th at 10:00 a.m. for a savings in 2013!
