The Pocahontas Public Library

was established on February 1, 1932.

To commemorate 80 years of serving

the community the Library is planning

to celebrate during the month of February.

On February 1st, 2012 the library is serving

refreshments from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

So come visit our displays of library history

and join us for refreshments.  We are planning

sign ups during the month for door prizes for

both for children and adults. If you have a long

overdue book bring it in and the fine will

disappear.  We have some books on display

 for Adopt-a-Book Program.  So if you would like

to buy a book for $15.00 then we will put your

name on the bookplate for donating the book

to the Library.  There are some great pictures of past

events and directors.   Can you name the Directors?
