Summer 2009 Reading Program Dates To Remember
Wednesdays, June 3rd ,10th, 17th & 24th @ 10:00 am “Story Hour” Preschool-K
Marge will fill the hour with stories and activities for the young.
Thursday, June 4th @ 1:30 pm “Art In The Park” All Ages
Explore art in nature with Corinne Peterson. This activity will meet at the
Conservation Commission, 702 NW 7th Street, Pocahontas
Tuesdays, June 9th, 16th, & 23rd @ 10:00 am “Creative Tales” Grades 1-3
Marge will fill the morning with stories and activities
Thursdays, June 11th & 25th @ 1:00 pm “Camera Craze” Grades 4-8
Lola will lead you in media creativity.
Wednesday, June 17th @ 4:30 & 5:30 pm “Reading Road Trip” All Ages
Dan Wardell of Iowa Public Television is hitting the road to visit libraries across
Iowa for another Reading Road Trip and he will be with us for two sessions!
Thursday, June 18h @ 2:00 pm “Eat ‘n Read” All Ages
Enjoy an afternoon of reading and a snack at the Library.
Monday, June 29th @ 1:30 pm “Mime, Masks & Magic” All Ages
Fax Gilbert uses his classical mime training as a basis for a fast-paced
show of skits, illusions, special effect & audience interaction.
Tuesday, June 30th LAST DAY TO RETURN MASKS FOR JUDGING! Grades K-8
All entries will be displayed at the Library. Winning entries will be posted

Come and check out a variety of creative displays and hands on activities.

read 1000 Pages (Young Adults) you qualify for the party.
Give you name to a Librarian for a time to join us at Pizza Ranch.
